Safety and quality of the blood and blood products used in all our hospital facilities meets the highest clinical standards worldwide. Global Hospitals has been accredited by the NABL, an autonomous body under the aegis of Department of Science & Technology for consistent adherence to international standards in handling blood donations and blood products. A periodic assessment helps keep the standards consistently high. Screening for HIV I & HIV II and HIV p24 antigen; Hepatitis B surface antigen; Antibody to Hepatitis C; Syphilis and Malaria, etc., are carried out.

Global Hospitals provides all patients, visitors, employees and others on its premises with a clean, and hygienically safe environment. This is achieved by maintaining the highest standards of logistical management, waste management and infection control. The infection control standards include cleanliness, sterilization, and pest-control with period fumigation. We encourage our patients and staff to maintain personal hygiene and isolate any possibilities that contaminate the sterile environment within the hospital.

The goal is to make a patient’s stay as comfortable as possible. If patients have a concern or a problem, they are requested to fill the feedback form or tell their International Patients Service Coordinator. The staff is here to answer questions, to offer support, and to inform the patients of available resources.

  1. To receive considerate, respectful, and compassionate care in a safe setting regardless of age, gender, race, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disabilities
  2. To receive care in a safe environment free from all forms of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment
  3. To be called by patient’s proper name and to be in an environment that maintains dignity and adds to a positive self-image
  4. To be told the names of the doctors, nurses, and all health care team members directing and/or providing care
  5. To have a family member or person of choice and to be designated a doctor promptly on admission to the hospital

 At Global Hospitals, we not only want our patients to be aware of their rights, but also the impending responsibilities that will ensure that the hospital works systematically to provide proper care and safety for all its patients. Patients are required to:

  1. Provide complete and accurate information, including full name, address, home telephone number, date of birth, insurance carrier and employer, when it is required
  2. Provide complete and accurate information about patient’s health and medical history, including present condition, past illnesses, hospital stays, medicines, vitamins, herbal products, and any other matters that pertain to the health, including perceived safety risks.
  3. Ask questions when they do not understand information or instructions
  4. If the patient does not understand or follow through the treatment plan, then it is the patient’s responsibility to tell the doctor
  5. Actively participate in pain management plan and keep doctors and nurses informed of the effectiveness of the treatment.
  6. Treat all hospital staff, other patients, and visitors with courtesy and respect; abide by all hospital rules and safety regulations; and be mindful of noise levels, privacy, and number of visitors.
  7. Provide complete and accurate information about health insurance coverage and pay bills in a timely manner
  8. Keep appointments, be on time, and call the health care provider if appointments need to be re-scheduled.
